Early Childhood Educators’ Wellness Circle

This is Sam. :)

13 years ago, I decided that early childhood was the career journey I wanted to embark on.

As an ECE student, student-teacher, relief-teacher, full-time class teacher in both childcare and kindergarten settings, and now, running @askteachersam and Kurios Oasis - I've faced my fair share of workplace trauma, stress, burnout, and more.…

I've been through conflicts, some still unresolved; company politics; and I wondered why I had to go through all of these.

God has blessed me well with HEPMIL, people who I've met in the correct seasons at the right time, people who've been a blessing in my life; and I've been absolutely blessed with my own team at Kurios Oasis.

Now, I'm writing this to share that I think I know why I had to go through those nightmares back then.

I've felt a prompting in my heart to serve and befriend teachers who are experiencing teacher guilt, who just need support or someone to talk to. It could be wellness in the form of games we come together to play, a space for you to come chill and be rejuvenated.

Early childhood teachers would know better than anyone that our job is... I don't even have the word to describe it - so hard - but y'all know how huge of an impact and influence you have on children's lives.

So I've decided to launch a FREE wellness programme, and with my resources and connections, help support you as best as I can. To be honest, I've thought about how I want to charge for this, but I thought back to the time when I was a beginning teacher needing help, and when I was only earning a take-home pay of $1.7k. I don't think I can charge. If God's gonna bless me, imma use the blessing to bless you all.

If you feel like you need help, give me your email and let me arrange something. I also want to share that I might only be able to support a small group of teachers for a start, and I'm not sure how many of y'all would actually want this support - so it'll be first come, first served.
